JUNGLE: Concept

The concept behind my Jungle project started very differently to how it evolved. In the beginning my concept started with the idea of a chaotic jungle in an urban setting, based on the bands urban roots in London. Partly into the project I realised that this was wrong for the band, their music can't be described as chaotic. It is calm and soulful.
My original plan for the project, was to have it based around a building, it was going to be completely dilapidated, and covered in vines, with silhouettes in the windows. Though i really liked this idea, I changed it due to how it doesn't fit the band, It felt like it was representing an end, though Jungle is a recent band and i wanted the cover to feel like a new beginning.
The idea I want to go forward with, is to have the main duo of Jungle stood, completely wrapped in vines, obscuring their identities, due to the members not wanting to become vain in the eyes of the media. I want it to look like some kind of metamorphosis, emerging in the bands new beginnings. I want the poster to look like some kind of discovery, though I still want it to reflect the urban setting, so I intend to give the feel of the jungle, whilst still having an urban backdrop.
For my product, the idea is to make a small box, that the album would come in, I want it to remind people of the box from the film Jumanji, as this always gave me a feeling of mystery, which I am trying to create about the band, with the hidden identities and sense of discovery.
